Bird flu researchers suspend study of deadlier mutations
http://bit.ly/xUNwCR Montreal Gazette
Not a good decision. Forget the Bio Terrorism angle, this is a real threat to all of us. With research suspended we do not know as much about it as we could. We may be able to develop a defence for it with research. But NO the bad guys may use it, so it should not be researched... who is to say the bad guys are not doing there own research on it? Research could give us a defence from the bad guys and /or Mother Nature, earlier diagnoses of cases, it would save lives.  I call BULLSHIT on this.
